Introduction.

Salajeet  is a Sanskrit word meaning "conqueror of mountains and destroyer of weakness. It is also spelt "Shilajeet," and is known by various other names, such as Shilajita Mumiyo, mineral pitch, mineral wax or ozokerite in English, black asphaltum, and Asphaltum punjabianum inLatin.

salajeet (Salaa & jeet );-

 The word salajeet drive from sala & jeet ,sala mean stone -jeet mean strong  is a thick, sticky tar-like substance with a colour ranging from white to dark brown (the latter is more common), is found predominately in Himalaya and Tibet mountains, Caucasus mountains, Altai Mountains, and mountains of Gilgit Baltistan district Ghizer Pakistan.

SALAJEET is widely used in preparation of ayurvedic ,HOMEOPHATIC AND ALLOPHATHIC medicines and is regarded as one of the most important ingredient  of medicine.  It works as a powerful anti oxidant thereby delaying aging.
